Poetry

Poetry has been my primary form of expression for as long as I can remember. However, it remained a very guarded private practice well into my adult life. In the last few years, I have been sharing my work more publicly and also been working on honing my craft as a writer.

I have had the privilege of being mentored by the likes of Jane Commane, Farhana Sheikh, and Vicky Morris in recent years. I continue to be a slow writer of poetry, what with juggling a full-time job and motherhood, among other things, but also because I’m learning to slow down and enjoy the process of writing (and living!).  

I have been commissioned by a number of organisations, including -
